Primary Function of Organization Unit: The NC State Department of Chemistry has award-winning re-search-ers and teachers who guide stu-dents through a broad, rigorous curriculum, and our graduates have been highly successful in both aca-demia and industry. Our research pro-grams cover a di-verse spec-trum including analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, biological, polymers, materials, nanoscience, theoretical, and magnetic resonance.
Essential Job Duties: The Department of Chemistry at NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position in the area of Analytical Chemistry. This is an open rank search. Of particular interest are individuals developing innovative and sophisticated programs in measurement science to quantitatively characterize complex chemical and biological systems. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests complement existing programs in the Department, College of Sciences, and University.
Minimum Education/Experience: Candidates must possess a PhD and post-doctoral experience in Chemistry or a related scientific field to be considered for this position.
