Duties: The Mackey Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time research assistant beginning in September 2017. The lab conducts behavioral and neuroimaging studies of brain plasticity and development, with the translational goal of improving academic outcomes for children struggling in school. This position will involve designing experiments, collecting behavioral and neuroimaging data, and assisting with data analysis and publication.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, education, or related field, and 0-1 year of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
*Knowledge of programming (python, bash), statistical software (e.g., R, Stata), neuroimaging analysis software (e.g., Nipype, FSL) and/or psychological experiment software (e.g., E-Prime, psychtoolbox, etc.)
*Strong oral and written communication skills
*Research experience in psychology, neuroscience, or related field strongly preferred
