The Connect Science Research Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and communicating the logistics around video taping of classroom lessons, supervising the video tape technicians, and helping with the video taping as needed. This is an at-will, hourly wage, part-time position that does not carry benefits. Must have reliable transportation for traveling between schools (mileage is reimbursed). Work is estimated to be about 10 hours per week from August to January.

A high school diploma is required. Some experience scheduling, coordinating, and organizing across multiple participants is required. An associate's degree may substitute for experience. Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse position are essential. Knowledge of using a video camera and transferring video taped files is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint) and use of the internet are also required. Some college coursework preferably in education is preferred. Experience working in an administrative or research role supporting a research project is strongly preferred.
