This position is responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of
circulation student assistants; in addition to managing student payroll. Ensures
excellent customer service while coordinating and managing operations of the
Circulation Desk. Assumes backup administrative duties of coordinating
actions with library auxiliary services. Develops/updates training materials for student
workers. Manages reconciliation of fines office cash drawer.

Required Related Experience
Required License/ Registration/Certification
Lifting, pushing or pulling of objects of up to 25 pounds; working at a computer for extended periods of time.
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm with occasional nights and weekends.
MS Office Suite, UK IES, Library Management System: Alma/Primo.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Basic working knowledge of circulation areas including course reserves, book stacks, InterLibrary Loan, holds, and fines.
