  • Ted's offers an extremely competitive compensation and benefits packages for its managers and General Managers that includes paid training and leadership development, paid holidays and vacation time, medical coverage, 401k and an uncapped incentive program.

Total compensation packages for Ted's managers can range from $34,000-$45,000 based on experience. (Including Bonuses and Benefits)

Ted's Restaurant Manager Mission: The Manager is critical to the success of Ted's because they provide the critical leadership that ensures all of our customers receive the best charcoal broiled food on the planet and an experience that will keep them coming back for generations.

LEADERSHIP:

Model the hospitality gene through leading through example and seeking out and celebrating awesome acts of hospitality in our restaurants

Setting goals for the team and models how they work together. Stays calm during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep restaurant operating to standard

Displays a "customer comes first" attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering awesome customer service.

Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet business objectives.

Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Ted's.

Leads and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to store teammates to ensure smooth flow of business.

Provides coaching and direction to the store team to take action and to achieve our goals. Constantly reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to the restaurant to achieve business goals.

PLANNING AND EXECUTION:

Develop regular action plans for the restaurant and management team based on current strengths and opportunities.

Monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure teammate and manager development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain a restaurant that is awesome. Communicates clearly, positively and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS:

Be able to lead a restaurant team while cooking Ted's awesome food

Ensures all food safety standards are met 100% of the time

Ensures we serve the best charcoal broiled food on the planet, 110% of the time

Ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for nonexempt team members and minors.

Asks for customer feedback to understand customer needs and the needs of the local community.

Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store. Tools include daily pulse report, daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators, and inventory variance reports.

Utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Providing team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and builds effective teamsResponsible for on-going leadership and talent development within their own restaurants including creating a strong leadership bench that supports Ted's value of promoting from within. Create development plans for all team members and provide feedback through performance evaluations and regular 1-1's.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to act with a customer comes first attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations

Ability to use discretion in providing direction to others

Effective oral communication skills

Previous restaurant management preferred but not required

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving skills
