Job Summary/Basic Function: Under general supervision, maintains Banner Transfer Articulation Catalogs content, and communicates transfer course equivalencies to students and staff. This position serves as a resource for the staff regarding state and local policy, placement requirements, and degree requirements as related to the student's academic record. This position is responsible for obtaining information necessary for the transfer of credit including interpretation of transfer guides and accreditation manuals, and independent research and correspondence with other institutions of higher education.
Work Hours: Typically Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. May work beyond normal office hours and weekends.

Analyzes and determines transferability of coursework via incoming paper and electronic transcripts.
Verifies authenticity and validity of academic records submitted.
Transcribes transferable courses in the Banner database system and maintains Banner transfer articulation library.
Responds to questions regarding transfer, course equivalencies and course substitutions.
Communicates final evaluation decisions regarding course equivalencies, substitutions, and hours transferred to students, faculty, department chairs, advisors, financial aid staff, and enrollment services staff.
Ensures consistency and uniformity in the awarding of transfer credit hours through discrepancy reports.
Interprets university, state and federal policies and regulations related to student records and reporting and implements processes and procedures to comply with policies and regulations.
Ensures that FERPA requirements are followed and that security measures for access to student information systems are appropriate and effective.
Manages the student transcript library in Banner, seeking ways to automate functions and provide better service.
Provides training in understanding transfer articulation processing as needed.
Oversees and provides back-up for graduation/commencement ceremony.
Represents Registrar's Office at activities/events and in professional organizations.
Performs other duties as assigned to include, but not limited, assisting Enrollment Management and other departments with recruitment activities and special events.
Works as a member of a team to facilitate service to students.
Necessary Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
Necessary Qualifications: One year of related experience, preferrably at an institution of higher education.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience at an institution of higher education.
