Essential Job Duties: The Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to work under the direction of Dr. Luo Xiao. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to develop statistical methods for analyzing functional data and longitudinal data with applications to fetal and child growth and health. This is a one-year position with the possibility of a one-year extension contingent on funding and performance.
Department Required Skills: A PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or related field is required. Outstanding computing and communication skills are required.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Ideal candidates should have experience in applied projects. NC State University is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through experience, research, teaching and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
