Essential Job Duties: Development and validation work in the area of core and system thermal-hydraulics and multi-physics simulations for reactor design and safety analysis. Code custodian for CTF and its derivatives including multi-physics and multi-scale systems.
Department Required Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: PhD and MS in related areas which include relevant classes in Nuclear Engineering. Research Internship and Fellowship experiences in Nuclear Engineering. Experience in participation in international research activities. Experience in working with RELAP5-3D*/PHISICS and software for parameterizing cross-sections for multi-physics calculations. Reasonable publication record in peer reviewed journals and proceedings of international conferences.
