Duties: Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Services. Support the Executive Director of Services by managing appointments, phone calls, filing and services related projects as assigned. Project work is related to database integrity including address updates, creating or updating actions and coding constituent records. Work cooperatively with the Gifts Administration team to create gift transmittals, review gift transmittals and prepare gift work for delivery to central Gift Accounting and Administration. Help complete the acknowledgement process for all donors to Penn Medicine. Follow Development, University and IRS guidelines as they apply to the handling of all gift work. Adhere to University standards to maintain the privacy and security of all constituent data and gift information. Provide support to the University's financial system, Ben Financials, to all members of the services team as needed. Uphold and explain University policy in regards to financial transaction. Create and administer purchase orders, procurement card purchases and the reconciliation of budgets. Help to trouble shoot and rectify budget and purchase related issues. Work with Research team to create financial snapshots or on other special projects. Help support Penn Medicine events by staffing events and helping with event preparations. Work with Communications team for writing assignments or to cover events that need a written follow up. Work cooperatively with other administrative professionals within the department when needed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma and 3-5 years related experience in database, development or financial work required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize several projects at once. Excellent organization and communication skills requires. Must be available to work Alumni Weekend and other large special events when needed. Ability to lift 25 pounds or less.
