The University of Kentucky's Campus Physical Plant is currently seeking 3 Plumber III's for Facilities Management.

Under the supervision of the Plumber Supervisor, this position works as the
team leader for 1-5 employees and is responsible for installation, construction,
and repair plumbing projects. May specialize in maintenance and repair, mechanical, and welding.

Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and possibly over 50lbs; Standing
or walking with objects up to 25lbs. May be exposed to loud noises, fumes,
confined spaces, and/or temperature extremes while on job sites.


7:30am - 4:15pm (Monday - Friday)
Hours of work may vary dependent upon situational factors and may include
some nights(s), weekend(s), and holiday(s) response


Journeyman HVAC License, Welding/Backflow/Sprinkler Certification, Journeyman Plumb, and Commercial Driver's License.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?

Preferred Education/Experience

High School + 6 years of plumbing experience; and Driver's License and the ability to drive are preferred.
