University of North Texas - Assistant Director III
The University Information Service Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Assistant Director III to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Develops contracts and ensures they are in compliance.* Develops operating budgets for UIS area.* Audits expenses to ensure they are aligned with strategic initiatives and in compliance with UNT policies.* Works with UIS Directors to ensure that HEAF requests are aligned with strategic initiatives and in compliance with UNT policies.* Develops and disseminates merit recommendation forms to AVP.* Direct and ensures that all areas within UIS establish programs/strategic initiatives as they relate to celebrations, recognition, and communication.* Works closely with UIS Directors to ensure that communications are directed to and approved by the appropriate personnel prior to being released.* Keeps AVP informed of all personnel matters and concerns and manages filing system.* Responsible for hiring, managing, and directing the student employees and full-time support staff member to ensure efficient and productive workflow.* Manages and maintains the training development tracking system.* Other duties as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and five years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
