Summary of Duties:
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator, specializing in Windows Server administration, to join our WSU Veterinary Information Systems team in Pullman, WA.

The qualified applicant will provide administration and support for production Windows servers, enterprise applications, and security management.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide administration support for enterprise level Windows servers, System Center, Hyper-V Cloud Services, clustering, IIS, DNS, DHCP, file servers, SQL, SSL certificates, and Active Directory services.
  • Provide administration support for server room network management, physical management of servers, and security.
  • Analyzing complex issues, conducting thorough and appropriate fact-finding inquiries and logical reasoning.

    Experience with any of the following is preferred:

  • Advanced proficiency with Windows systems administration.
  • Active Directory, System Center, IIS, Data Protection Manager, Hyper-V virtual environment.
  • Windows command scripts such as PowerShell or structured computer programs.
  • Network and firewall configuration.
  • MicrosoftSQL.
  • Experience withKVMvirtual environment.
  • Familiarity with Linux Server administration.
