Visiting Assistant Professor in Sociology
Bard College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Sociology for the 2018 spring semester. Substantive areas are open but preference will be given to candidates who can teach in one or more of the following areas: urban sociology, environmental sociology, political sociology, and sociology of development. Applicants will be expected to teach introduction to sociology and one or two other courses that are tailored to the candidate's interests and strengths and that meet departmental needs.
The successful candidate must hold or be near completion of a PhD.
