Graduate Program Coordinator

The Office of Graduate and Professional Studies is looking for an energetic, detail oriented person to assist with supporting new and existing graduate programs.
This role reports to the Graduate Dean and will help plan and launch new programs and support existing ones. In this role, you will work closely with a range of Graduate Program Directors to plan, promote and execute events. It will be necessary to work with departments across the college.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree
Efficient self-starter with a positive attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of structure and issues of higher education
Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office, social media posting and management

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
Graduate degree preferred. Basic web development and Banner Student Information System skills a plus.

Required Prior Work Experience:
Experience working successfully in a position where multi-tasking and time management was required

Job Duties:
  • Assist in researching, writing and compiling proposals for new programs
  • Event planning (Coordinating guest speakers, space reservations, promotion )
  • Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc.
  • Assist Graduate Program Directors in administrative needs
  • Serve as point person for graduate students needing administrative assistance
  • Manage student petitions and thesis approvals
  • Other duties as needed by Graduate Dean
