Part-Time Faculty-Sociology, NAU-Yuma

NAU-Yuma Department of Arts and Sciences is looking for a part-time, online instructor for the 2017 Fall term to teach SOCIO 365 (Social Statistics). The Bachelor of Sociology program provides students with an understanding of human social interaction in groups, organizations, regions, and nations of the world.  Our program prepares students for careers in the private sector as well as government, non-profit and social service sectors. Our instructors provide high-quality academic experiences and support students as they work toward their educational goals.  Part-time online faculty members work collaboratively with full-time campus-based faculty in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has support, tools and resources needed to be successful. We seek instructors with both academic and professional experience.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants interested in teaching SOCIO 365 will preferably have a master’s degree in Sociology, and previous teaching experience in statistics.  Online teaching experience is preferred.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
