Job Description:
The Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo invites applications for adjunct professor positions in television/broadcast journalism in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.

Experienced candidates are being sought to teach graduate courses in script-writing & electronic news gathering, camera production and digital video editing (broadcast television production). Candidates must utilize current industry standard multi-camera field and studio production applications in a classroom and field setting.

Highly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum academic achievement of MA in said or related discipline; Minimum 10 years work experience in said or related field; Teaching experience preferred in said or related discipline; English proficiency is a must.

Candidates will teach but not be restricted to:

TVDJ 5242 Digital Video Editing - basic operation of video editing equipment. How to edit stories using machine to machine editing (linear editing) and software editing (non-linear editing). Live video editing and production inside the studio.
