Part-time Faculty, Dept. of Accounting and Finance
Department Summary: Bridgewater State University's Accounting and Finance Department's mission is to prepare students for professional careers and/or graduate studies through high quality education. The mission of the Accounting and Finance Department supports the mission of Bridgewater State University as well.
Essential Duties: The primary responsibilities are to teach upper and lower level courses in Accounting with the possibility of teaching select Finance courses and graduate courses. Applicants should possess: - Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship. - Strong commit to excellence in teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity. - Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning. - Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading. - Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the department office as requested. - Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications are an earned Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, a CPA license; college-level teaching experience and related professional work experience.
