Boston University's College of Fine Arts seeks a Costume Shop Manager in the School of Theatre who oversees the process of timely, accurate and high quality delivery of fully executed costumes produced to a high standard of excellence set by the Design & Production Faculty. This position will support approximately nine School of Theatre productions, four Opera Institute productions, BU Summer Theatre Institute productions and School of Theatre special events including but not limited to the annual Showcase. These productions and events will be performed at a wide variety of venues in and out of the BU Theatre center. This position will provide instructional training, supervision and mentorship for Graduate and Undergraduate Design & Production majors, SOT Freshman Core and non-theatre majors assigned to these shows. The position manages the Costume Shop of the Boston University Theatre Center, determines labor needs, manages student and professional personnel, and teaches building crafts and technical skills to the School's Design & Production and Stagecraft students.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. required, three to five years of relevant experience.
