Job Description Summary:
The University of La Verne's Psychology Department invites applications for two full-time, ten-month, tenure track positions to begin teaching with the 2018-2019 academic year. Positions are as core faculty members in the undergraduate psychology program.
The University of La Verne is a comprehensive private university founded in 1891 and located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains about 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The University is designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution.
The Psychology Department, offering bachelors, MFT, and Psy.D. degrees, is committed to teaching and scholarly excellence, values a multicultural psychology perspective, fosters a collegial learning community for students and faculty, and actively strives to incorporate cultural diversity and multiculturalism into its mission.

Specific Duties:

Applicants with the following specialties are encouraged to apply: cognitive, developmental, evaluation/measurement, experimental, forensic, health, learning/behavior, physiological/neuro, quantitative, or social/personality.



Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications for these positions include a doctoral degree in psychology.


For both positions, there is an expectation of quality teaching and scholarship in a comprehensive liberal arts university with a commitment to multiculturalism and a very diverse student body.
