Position Summary: The Center Project Manager will oversee and manage administrative and research activities for the UNC Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility (CEHS) that includes over 80 investigators and research partners. The Project Manager will play a key role in promoting and fostering new CEHS research collaborations, and will support research and programmatic activities of the CEHS. Working closely with the Center Director, Research Directors for each of the three Translational Research focus areas, the Director of Community Outreach and Engagement, and the Core Facility directors, the Manager will encourage pilot project development, link investigators to relevant CEHS core facilities and resources, and connect investigators with common interests. The Manager will represent the Center at School, University, and community events, and will attend national meetings in support of the Center. The Manager will plan and organize local meetings and symposia of the Center administrative team and Center members, and will manage and support Center communications, including a newsletter, regular communications with Center members, and coordination of the multiple facility core and advisory components of the Center.
