Position Summary	
Job Function:
The Interim Campus Life Coordinator has responsibilities in Campus Life which includes Residence Life and Student Leadership & Engagement. The Susquehanna University Campus Life Department is a collaborative work team that engages both the Office of Residence Life and the Office of Leadership & Engagement. The Campus Life goal is to create a seamless student experience outside of the classroom. The Campus Life team has shared responsibilities across many facets of student activities, Greek Life, residential living, and leadership development. The Campus Life Coordinator will assist various areas of Campus Life.

Responsibilities:
• Assist, as needed, in the management, operations, and coverage of venues such as Charlie's Coffee House, Trax nightclub, and the Outdoor Recreation Center.
• Work collaboratively with other Campus Life staff members on programmatic efforts or leadership development initiatives.
• Serve in advisory roles with student groups within Campus Life.
• Demonstrate a commitment to student centered service and engagement.
• Demonstrate a commitment to actively working with our diverse population to engage students in leadership experiences.
• Perform all other duties as needed to contribute to the overall success of the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement, Campus Life, Student Life and Susquehanna University.
• Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of English language including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Ability to set priorities and advocate team concepts; work corroboratively with faculty and staff. Detail oriented, excellent time management skills and customer service.

Physical Demand:
Normal office environment, plus ability to walk short distances, climb stairs, and travel to various locations on and off campus. Must be able work evening and weekend hours as required by the schedule of events.

Required Qualifications	
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in Student Life/ Student Affairs or similar student development experiences.

Preferred Qualifications	
An earned or in-process master's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration or a related field preferred.
