Job Summary

Full-Time Faculty Appointment in the Department of Business and Economics (Tenure Track)

 

Responsibilities

Teach the equivalent of a full seven-course load per year. Courses to be taught will likely include: Financial Valuation, Capital Markets, Managerial Finance, and Psychology of Investing depending on specialties and departmental needs. General faculty responsibilities will include undergraduate student academic advising and committee assignments.

Candidate must be committed to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University and demonstrate commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and maintaining an active program of scholarship. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to contribute to Bethel’s anti-racism efforts and cross-cultural understanding.

 

Required Experience

Finance and investment backgrounds are preferred.

 

Required Education

A master’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance is required; Ph.D., DBA, or CFA charter preferred.

Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
