The Continuity Planning Coordinator at Temple University will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of mission continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions. This would necessary include risk analysis and assessment as well as business impact analyses for mission critical areas. The Continuity Planning Coordinator should be coordinated with Emergency Management and Enterprise Risk Management standards and functions. Standard Operating Procedures will be developed in collaboration with those two areas. As a way to test plans, policies and procedures, this position would need to develop, conduct, and debrief exercises. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience in Emergency Management, Risk Management, Community and Regional Planning or commensurate experience, which can include disaster recovery program development or other similar roles. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Ability to coordinate teams across a university to create School/College or Unit specific plans

*Possess project management skills, ability to analyze large data sets, and superior excel skills.
