CLIN RESEARCH FINANCIAL ADMIN COORD

Duties: The Clinical Research Financial Coordinator will report directory to the Associate Director for Research Compliance. In this role, the position will support the Director in his/her duties in providing support for the successful financial management of clinical trials billings to appropriate sponsors. The coordinator will have responsibilities to assist with the development of the financial module of the clinical trials management system, the association of study milestones to study budget calendar and the review of clinical research charges to confirm accuracy and identify any inappropriate billings. The Clinical Research Financial Coordinator will assist the Director in the training and implementation of best practices as it relates to study cost and financial management for clinical research trials. The Clinical Financial Coordinator will also work with faculty and staff to present evidence of routine care decision making and provide Prospective Reimbursement Analysis to the Office of Human Research.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required and 1 years of clinical trial/clinical research experience in an academic health center, pharmaceutical company or contract research organization or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Proficiency with spreadsheet applications a must, knowledge and understanding of CMS clinical research policies a plus. Ideal candidate would have direct experience with study cost budgets, CPT terminology and development of protocols. Candidate must have good communication skills and be adept at learning multiple IT systems.
