Lecturer - Recording Arts
The Department of Music & Entertainment Industry Studies at the University of Colorado Denver seeks a part-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer of Recording Arts. This appointment is 100% teaching, but will be limited to 1-2 courses per semester. Teaching assignments will include undergraduate level courses in audio recording and production. Teaching responsibilities may also include other areas relevant to the Department's programs and candidate's expertise.
Appointment begins August 14, 2017. Lecturer appointments are part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department.
Terminal degree in relevant field. Significant professional experience (combined with a Bachelor's degree) may substituted for the terminal degree.
Experience teaching in a higher education environment.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary depends on the number of credit hours per class and ranges from $1,265 to $4,815 per course. The University of Colorado offers a full benefits package. Information on University benefits programs, including eligibility, is located at Employee Services.
