Assistant Professor in Statistics or Probability

The Statistics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Probability, Applied or Theoretical Statistics. This is a research and teaching position with student advising and department committee responsibilities.

Applicants should have demonstrated strong research abilities. A Ph.D. in Statistics or a related area is required. The Stanford Statistics department currently has 22 regular faculty members, as well as a distinguished group of emeriti. Many professors have joint appointments in other departments, including positions in mathematics, economics, the School of Medicine, the School of Engineering, the School of Earth Sciences, and the School of Education.
