Position Summary:
Civil Engineering. The Laboratory Coordinator provides expert guidance, technical oversight, design, and development support for projects within the Civil Engineering and Construction Management departments.

Essential Functions
  • Oversees lab safety and orients faculty, staff, students, and lab personnel in the use of equipment, methods and materials used.
  • Schedules and coordinates lab activities and provides support to faculty, staff and students engaged in Civil Engineering research, design, and implementation.
  • Assists in the purchasing, installation, and maintenance of lab equipment, including but not limited to desktop computers, electronic measurement equipment and basic mechanical equipment and tools.

    Bachelor’s Degree

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

    One year of previous supervisory experience

    Salary Range: Up to a budgeted maximum of $45,000
