Essential Job Duties: The Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE) in North Carolina State University's Poole College of Management welcomes applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate level in the area of strategic management. We are especially interested in applicants that can assist in strengthening our national reputation in developing the entrepreneurial mindset and data analytics problem-solving. We seek an individual with a developing scholarly research record that has begun to build a strong reputation in the field of strategy, entrepreneurship and/or innovation. Salary is competitive. Faculty will be available for conversations at the Academy of Management in Atlanta, August 3-8, and the Strategic Management Society conference in Houston, October 27-31. Anticipated starting date is August 2018, but this date is flexible. Position will be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, depending on credentials and qualifications.

Minimum Education/Experience: An earned Ph.D. in a relevant area is required.

Department Required Skills: Teaching and course development experience at the college level required.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Growing record of publications in top journals, and a proven record in teaching. In particular, an interest and ability to teach strategy at the MBA level are desired.
