Primary Function of Organization Unit: The mission of the NC State University Department of Athletics is to prepare student-athletes to compete at the highest level and to inspire them to be leaders now and for the future by providing the best environment to achieve their athletic, academic, and personal aspirations as well as providing support for the professional development of our coaches and staff, all within the role of the greater institutional relationships to the University. This position will support the Division 1A Women's Golf Team at NC State University that competes within the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).

Essential Job Duties: The Assistant Women's Golf Coach is responsible for the day to day operations of a Division ​I women's college golf program under the supervision of the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach provides administrative assistance and support to the Head Women's Golf Coach; assists with coaching, scouting, and recruiting student-athletes; monitors student-athletes academic schedules, training, conditioning, and compliance with student-athlete code of conduct; assists with video and filming; manages home tournament operations; participates in public relations activities; assists with budget preparations and operates within approved budget allocations; schedules and facilitates practices, competitions, and team travel; and participates in NC State clinics, exhibitions, and camps as needed. This position also assists with donor and past player relationships; and assists with social media. The Assistant Coach promotes an environment that is conducive to player improvement and development at the highest level, engages in ongoing professional development, and adheres to all ACC, NCAA, NC State Athletics Department, and NC State University rules.

Minimum Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree is required.

Department Required Skills: - Coaching, playing, and/or tournament administrative experience. - Must possess excellent computer and technical skills. - Must be able to work effectively and communicate with all team members and support staff within NC State Athletics and NC State University. - Must be well organized with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Master's degree preferred. - Golf coaching experience desired, preferable in a Division 1 women's program. - Collegiate recruiting experience desired. - Knowledge and experience in men's or women's college golf coaching, playing, and/or tournament administration or related field.

Necessary Licenses and Certifications: - Must be able to pass NCAA Recruiting exam annually. - Valid Driver's License must be obtained prior to start date and must be maintained as a condition of employment.
