Duties: The main responsibility for this position is to provide administrative direction and leadership for GME evaluation activities. The includes providing oversight and administration of the MedHub based GME evaluation systems and processes, including evaluations of GME trainees, rotations, and faculty, and ensuring the integrity of the data resulting from the on-line evaluation system through sound data entry, checks, analyses and reporting routines. The Director of GME Evaluation and Research will function as a resource to faculty and coordinators who have questions regarding program evaluation and provide a leadership role in strategic planning to identify short and long term evaluation needs of over sixty training programs. This individual will also facilitate the mission of the GME Office and Penn Medicine to conduct research and disseminate information about state-of the-art medical education processes and projects, and analyze and disseminate education evaluation innovations and activities.

Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have advanced database skills (e.g., Excel, Access), and considerable experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS. Experience writing research abstracts, reports and manuscripts preferred.
