Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia College of Arts and Sciences seeks applications to fill non-tenure track Instructional positions during the 2017-2018 academic year. Teaching load will be a minimum of one, but no more than four, course(s) during the academic year based on need, and at the discretion of the department chair. Candidates must have a background in the liberal arts and be able to teach interdisciplinary content. See course descriptions of sample classes LASE 3110 and LASE 3111 (http://college.as.virginia.edu/LASE_ELA).

Candidates with experience teaching academic strategies are preferred (See ELA 2890 as a sample of course description.) Compensation will take the form of wages. A terminal degree is expected but not required. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Applications will be considered beginning August 3, 2017.
