General Summary: The University of North Georgia invites applicants for full-time Lecturer positions (with benefits) in English on its Gainesville campus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities include teaching five English composition courses, to possibly include Learning Support classes, and other English course offerings in fall and spring semesters, holding office hours, and attending department meetings.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in English, or related terminal degree with a minimum of 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) of graduate course work in English, or Master's degree with a minimum of 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) of graduate course work in English.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience teaching college-level composition, credentials in composition and rhetoric, and those who have experience in on-line courses.
