Master's degree from an accredited college or university is required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Minimum 6 years of professional experience relevant to the position.

2. Professional experience at the university/college level working directly with students, particularly with students across the wide range of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.
3. Outstanding communication skills.

6. Supervision of professional staff
7. Understanding of large public research-intensive higher education setting with a strong-shared governance philosophy.

Position Summary:

The LGBT CC at UW-Madison leads the campus in providing a complex variety of support services to LGBTQ UW students and their allies. The Center's work is guided by the University of Wisconsin System, UW-Madison's and the DSL's strategic priorities.
The Assistant Dean/Director provides vision, direction and oversight to the Center's priorities and functions.
