Location: Edwards CBSHS

The Clemson University School of Nursing is seeking new faculty members for an expanding academic unit committed to research and undergraduate/graduate education.


Seek grant funding and maintain a program of scholarly research. Teaching in undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.


• Research, scholarship, and grant writing • Classroom and clinical instruction • Participation on departmental and university committees • Student advising and additional faculty responsibilities


Positions open for tenured and tenure track rank: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. Salary commensurate with qualifications.


Candidates should hold an earned doctorate in Nursing or related field and a beginning or established program of research. A record of successful teaching in higher education is expected. Qualified applicants from any specialty areas in nursing are invited to apply.

Preferred specialties include: Community, Medical-Surgical, Obstetrics and Maternal Health, Pediatrics, and Mental Health. Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in South Carolina and national board certification in their specialty. This is a full-time, 9-month tenure/tenure-track appointment.
