The Office of Enrollment Communication, on behalf of the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success and in collaboration with the Office of Admission, seeks an energetic, creative, and collaborative individual to serve as Senior Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Communication.  In partnership with fellow team members, admission colleagues, and divisional partners, this position will play an integral role in the realization of organizational priorities and institutional goals and plan, manage, and execute integrated and comprehensive communication plans utilizing varying media, best practices, and industry-leading trends.  Through the collection of data and assessment and analysis of key metrics, the position will measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and further inform divisional practices.

 

Duties/Physical Demands: Plan, manage, and execute an integrated and comprehensive communication plan using varying media, including but not limited to email, print, web, text, digital marketing, and social media for prospective undergraduate students, parents, and other targeted audiences at all stages of the recruitment, admission, and yield process with a focus on domestic first-year recruitment, visits and events, and high ability recruitment. (40%) Serve as a liaison to University Communications and Marketing (UCM) for specific communication plans to ensure projects are developed and executed to meet the clients' needs.  Ensure communication workflows, both internal to the Office of Enrollment Communication and UCM and external to the institution, are monitored and adjusted as needed based on client and audience needs. (20%) Plan, manage, and execute various strategic communication plans for current students and parents for various offices within EMSS, including One Stop Student Services, Office of the Vice President, the Student Success Center, and Student Financial Assistance. (15%) Manage budgets related to communication plans and projects, examine costs and ROI related to communication plans and projects, and identify areas for possible cost savings. Utilize data to assess and analyze key metrics and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts. (10%) Provide prospective student data to admission personnel, mail centers, academic divisions, and other offices as needed for all related communication plans. (5%) Monitor and benchmark other university communication and marketing strategies for messaging ideas, best practices, design concepts, and creative approaches to communication with target audiences. Qualifications:

Senior Assistant Director

Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of full-time, professional experience working in college admission, higher education marketing or communication, and/or marketing/sales/communication; Master's Degree may be considered in lieu of years of experience Ability to work independently with minimum direction and strict adherence to deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of recruitment strategies and/or marketing and communication strategies Experience in integrating technology as part of a larger marketing strategy Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external constituencies Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and handling of confidential information Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience with various software, design, and web applications                                              

 

Associate Director

Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of full-time, professional experience working in college admission, higher education marketing or communication, and/or marketing/communication/sales or Master's Degree and at least three years of full-time, professional experience working in college admission, higher education marketing or communication, and/or marketing/communication/sales in roles of progressively increased responsibility? Ability to work independently with minimum direction and strict adherence to deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously? Knowledge of recruitment strategies and/or marketing and communication strategies Experience in integrating technology as part of a larger marketing strategy Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external constituencies Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and handling of confidential information Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience with various software, design, and web applications
