General Description of Position:
The Division of Biology seeks a highly motivated person to conduct research to investigate mechanisms of mosquito-vectored virus pathogenesis and insect virus pathogenesis.
This project includes identifying viral and host genes that are important in modulating virus infection and will include molecular biology, cell culture, and mosquito handling techniques.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field
Masters Degree, ability to interpret/critique primary literature and experience in virology/arbovirology
