ASSOC DIRECTOR, STUDENT AFFAIRS
Duties: The Associate Director B contributes to the development of the campus community through administrative coordination of most campus-wide programming initiatives. He/she advises student programming committees in the planning of special events designed to enhance the informal curriculum and enrich the quality of campus life. He/she works with other University Life staff members to design program, policies, services and facilities which foster a spirit of community at the University of Pennsylvania. Reports to the Associate Director of Student Affairs.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required with 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Demonstrated ability in student group advising. Comfort with both large and small scale program planning. An understanding of the value of student programs in student development and community building. Sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds and interests essential. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as the job may require.
