Research Analyst, Institutional Research
Job Summary: The Analyst will work on data submissions for the Integrated Post-Secondary Educational Data System, compiling numerous ad hoc data requests, designing analytics reports for various offices, designing surveys and analyzing results. This is a full-time, non-exempt administrative position located on the Chicago campus. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Accreditation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelors degree. A minimum of 2 years experience working in data collection and analysis or a master's degree in the social sciences. Demonstrated ability to manage and compile large data sets and organize data into coherent tables/charts and/or spreadsheets for review and analysis. Strong organizational and time-management skills; demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Qualtrics. #CB
Preferred Qualifications: A Masters degree in a related field. Knowledge of Banner ERP is a plus. Knowledge of Access, Excel and Qualtrics. SQL, SPSS and basic statistics is a plus. Previous experience in Higher Education.
