The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Information Systems and Technology Management beginning as early as August 2018. This position will be hired at either the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, depending upon the credentials of the candidate.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include a balanced emphasis on research and teaching. Research is expected to be published in top journals in the field. Teaching would be in our AACSB-accredited undergraduate, Master of Science in Information Systems Technology and MBA programs. Area of research emphasis is open.Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in MIS or a closely related area from a research university accredited by a US or internationally recognized accrediting organization. ABD applicants may be considered but must complete all degree requirements for the Ph.D. by the date of appointment. Applicants must demonstrate research productivity (or strong potential) by refereed publications in top journals or works in progress on a level consistent with their experience.
