Department Overview
The College of Science (COS) at the University of North Texas is a new college that consists of the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics and the interdisciplinary program Teach North Texas. The college offers Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees in science and mathematics, currently serving more than 3,800 majors. Our faculty are world-class researchers in science and mathematics, and the college faculty and staff work together to provide excellent support to our faculty to meet their research and teaching objectives and to the students during the process of their academic education and professional development.

Job Description
The COS Dean's Office at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Research Analyst III- College Research Officer. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Assisting newer investigators with grant applications, in particular the adherence to agency guidelines, and assisting investigators with grant applications that span various departments within the COS.
* Review and approval of expenditures associated with externally funded grants.
* The pre- and post-award tasks are done in collaboration with the COS Research Officer team and the University's Central Office of Grants and Contracts Administration.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, auditing, public administration, or related field and four years professional business administration work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Master's degree.
* CRA or other research certification.
* Higher education grant experience.
