Advertised Job Summary
Under limited supervision the Assistant Principal collaborates with the Faculty Principal and Residence Life Director in organizing educational programs, developing co-curricular initiatives, and promoting community development for the Galen Health Fellows living learning community in Patterson Hall.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Masters degree in Student Personnel Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience. Valid driver's license required.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with college students in and outside of the classroom. Knowledgeof MS operating system (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Powerpointe.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Commitment to excellence. Ability work on a flexible basis when activities fall outside of normal working times, including nights and weekends. Ability work within a diverse, collaborative, non hierarchical work environment. Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff and community members.
