We are currently seeking a Hardware / Software Technician who will advance the institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life and community service.

Your mission: A crashed computer cripples productivity, and that's where you'll come in. We'll rely on you to install, modify, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware.
A typical day: You could be installing the latest virus protection or evaluating new equipment, communicating with users or taking inventory. And when you're not expertly handling projects and emergencies, you'll be taking care of the clean-up and maintenance that will keep our machines humming along.

Associate's degree or certification in Computer Science or a related field. Four (4) years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Two (2) years recent experience in hard/software technical support (HCC experience is considered on a two for one basis).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of current MAC OS, DOS, current Windows OS, current Windows Server, and Microsoft Office Suite required
Demonstrated competencies in personal computer hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Required to do occasional traveling among the colleges
May work in a stressful atmosphere occasionally
Subject to working week-ends and holidays
