Schedule Information: Both positions are expected to take turns covering the morning shifts and afternoon/evening shifts. The positions require doing evening work from Monday to Thursday.

Duties of Position:Manages accommodations and materials for exam administration, proctors exams and returns exams to Instructors. Works with Front Office staff and student aides to facilitate these processes. Provides approved testing accommodations to students. Assists students and Instructors to coordinate testing times for students needing testing accommodations in ADS. Assists students with submitting third-party exam accommodation documents, and provides appropriate releases and ADS documents as supporting evidence. Maintains regular contact with the Testing Center regarding upcoming certification, licensing, or specialty exams that require testing accommodations or proctoring in ADS. Communicates with Instructors, students, third-party testing organizations, the Testing Center, and ADS staff as needed. Meets with students interested in utilizing note taking services, and provides appropriate paperwork to students. Coordinates note taker recruitment for some courses when needed. Assists ADS in organizing note taker paperwork, data tracking, and preparation of note taker stipends. On an emergency basis, serves as a temporary note taker. Recruits lab assistants to provide note taking and scribing support to students with physical disabilities. Assists with other direct student accommodations per the direction of the Manager, Deaf Institute and Accommodation Services. Participates in ADS and Student Development meetings as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Deaf Institute, Accommodation Services, or Director.
Educational Requirements:High school graduate required, but college coursework in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
Experience Requirements:Direct experience working with college students and/or students with disabilities desired. Additional experience with test proctoring, academic support, or tutoring highly valued.
