Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the individual major donor program to meet the college's major gifts fundraising goal and build the individual donor base. This position will be assigned to raise private support for a dynamic and growing part of our campus that includes the student and campus life division. The Director of Development is responsible for direct solicitations of $10,000 or higher.


An opportunity is available with a focus on Student and Campus Life and an additional opportunity with a focus on Natural Sciences, Technology and Sustainability.

The work requires advanced interpersonal and communication skills as well as excellent time management, a strong inclination to action, and the ability to record, track and respond to data trends. Candidate will demonstrate best practices in fundraising on an ongoing basis and become knowledgeable of current trends and advances within the development field by participating in seminars and online communications. Some evening and weekend work is required.
