The Darden School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Administrative Coordinator to join its team.
The Operations and Administrative Coordinator supports the mission of the Darden Centers of Excellence, specifically the Richard A. Mayo Center for Asset Management (MCAM), Center for Global Initiatives (CGI) and the Institute for Business in Society (IBiS).
The Operations and Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for integrating Center projects, financial operations, office administration and logistics to enhance their working relationship with the Darden School faculty and departments, fellows and other scholarly collaborators.
The individual will proactively coordinate the development of project budgets, manage expenditures and projects and oversee the day to day operations of the Centers.
Specific competencies include an interest in business issues and research methods, an understanding of financial and budget processes, proven written and oral communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships across a wide range of constituencies.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced skill in verbal and written communication and in gathering and reporting information.
Excellent communication skills as the position requires frequent interaction with many individuals, internal and external, in a high-energy environment.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple high-level projects simultaneously.
