Job Summary This position serves as the Business Manager for the Office of the Southern Regional Extension Forester. It assists with the business and office management activities of a large regional project with over $750,000 annually in grants and contracts and employs approximately 15 people. The major responsibilities include coordinating all administrative aspects of multiple proposal budgets. This includes assisting the Regional Forester with developing, modifying and processing grant proposals through the appropriate University departments. Other duties include projecting payroll and making necessary changes based on funding allocations, processing monthly and student payrolls, processing personnel actions and budget amendments, processing check requests as well as travel authority requests and reimbursements, procurement of supplies and equipment for the department, meeting planning, assisting in oversight of student workers, and managing day to day office activities. Minimum Qualifications Completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related discipline with five to seven years of related experience required; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
