Under general supervision coordinates and administers enterprise system support for the area of Data Center Operations. Work in Project Teams to research, make recommendations, and install, configure and maintain enterprise systems to include Linux operating systems with some VMWare and Windows Servers. Troubleshoot complex problems, software, hardware and network issues. Monitor systems performance and ensures compliance with security standardsMinimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 1 year related work experience or high school diploma and 5 years related work experience; or equivalencyPreferred Qualifications
Four years experience with:
DNS Servers, email servers and VMware
Advanced problem-solving skills
Ability to handle complex tasks and overcome technical obstacles to achieve business goals and timelines.
Project management experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Linux Systems, Backup Systems, DNS and Email protocols and associated
server administration is preferred. Strong written and verbal skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex problems,
be able to deal courteously and effectively with the public, and work as an effective team member are
essential. Occasional work after hours and in an “On Call” capacity is required.
