Job Description

3.3.3.1. Responsibilities
3.3.3.1.1. Plan tasks, assign resources to the task, monitor and track progress, and ensure project management is aware of all project activities
3.3.3.1.2. Perform business and technical analyst functions, including workshop facilitation, business process data validation, PeopleSoft product testing from a functional business area perspective, program development, unit testing of PeopleSoft application code from a technical perspective, work group/work session participation, and delivery of technical and business solutions
3.3.3.1.3. Implement databases resulting from business systems planning and data requirements planning
3.3.3.1.4. Provide for systems development and database administration groups for future business strategies as seen from a data point of view
3.3.3.1.5. Provide analysis of enterprise information system baseline and perform a "gap analysis" between the baseline, the user's operational requirements, and the operating capability of enterprise application product sets
3.3.3.1.6. Perform business and technical designer functions, including contributing to both the business and technical architecture components of enterprise solutions; supporting functional area business process specialists and experts; supporting architecture, product and technology specialists and experts; and assessing enterprise solution products for accuracy and consistency
3.3.3.1.7. Provide guidance to WMATA's staff regarding enterprise management

3.3.3.2. Minimum Requirements
3.3.3.2.1. Six (6) years of General IT experience, including formal training and two (2) years' experience in enterprise applications and/or including formal training and one (1) year experience in databases such as ORACLE, M204 and SYBASE
3.3.3.2.2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Systems, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering/Engineering Technology, Software Engineering/Programming, Management, Natural Sciences, Mathematics or Business/Finance. Experience requirements may be substituted with a Master's degree (in subjects described above) and four (4) years' experience; a PhD Degree (in subjects described above) and two (2) years of General IT experience. Three (3) years of additional applicable experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree

3.3.3.3. Experience Levels
3.3.3.3.1. Expert level, with six (6) or more years of General IT experience, including formal training and two (2) years' experience in enterprise applications and/or including formal training and one (1) year experience in databases such as ORACLE, M204 and SYBASE
