Director II of the Nurse Practitioner ProgramPosition Summary
Michigan State University College of Nursing invites applications for the position of Nurse Practitioner Program Director. This is an annual year, fixed term faculty position.
The program director is a member of the full time faculty in the College of Nursing and is responsible for providing leadership regarding the overall planning, implementation, recruitment, evaluation and revision of the master’s and doctoral curriculum. The program director works closely with College administration including the Office of Student Support Service Advisors to achieve this mission. This position will serve as a liaison between clinical facilities and the College of Nursing for student’s experiences and in securing appropriate clinical sites.
The College is located in mid-Michigan in East Lansing on the Michigan State University campus. The East Lansing community offers a high quality of life and is close to recreational areas, sporting events and artistic performances and exhibits and a vibrant university life.

Doctorate -NursingMinimum Requirements
DNP or PhD in nursing or related fieldis required; National certification as a Family or Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner; Unrestricted RN license without probationary status; Comprehensive knowledge and experiencein specialty area; Previous teaching experience is required.Desired Qualifications
Baccalaureate and higher education teaching experience is desired; Prior administrative experience is desired.Required Application Materials
