Advertised Job Summary
The successful candidate is responsible for the collection, meaningful analysis, presentation, and dissemination of factual and verifiable data, and longitudinal curriculum; accreditation processes; and medical school academic evaluation needs (e.g. ISA (Institutional Self-study Assessment), GQ (Graduation Questionnaire), PTD (Program to date) surveys), and other needs as required.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master's degree in related field and 2 years relevant program experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant program experience. Demonstrated ability in data analysis and education research methods is required. Must be detail oriented, organized, and possess the ability to work independently and on teams.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or higher, with graduate level course work in a quantitatively-oriented field-Statistics, Mathematics, Educational Research, Social Science, Higher Education, Planning or Research.
Minimum of 4 years or relevant experience in medical/higher education; preferably in institutional research areas with broad knowledge of data collection, interpretation, database design, statistical analyses, and research design
Understanding of qualitative and quantitative survey research and statistical analyses
Demonstrated knowledge of social science research methodology, report writing and computer skills;
Commitment to accuracy, clarity, promptness and reliability
High standards of integrity, ethical conduct, and confidentiality
Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate complex statistical analysis to a non-technical audience
Effective and collaborative management skills
Experience with statistical tools: e.g. SPSS
